**Can you lead a centralised responsibility for risk and compliance, embedding sound practices and providing evidence to prove this while matrix managing risk colleagues and compliance responsibilities within Macmillan and driving continuous improvement? If so, this could be the role for you.**

**About the role**

In this role you will support the Head of Risk, Governance & Assurance (HRGA) in designing and delivering the Risk Management & Compliance Framework. You will build a strong risk culture by embedding sound risk management practices throughout Macmillan Cancer Support, providing evidence of compliance to Management and the Trustees. This will support the business to achieve our objectives, protect our reputation and meet our corporate governance standards.

You will lead on the creation, delivery and implementation of a new enterprise wide risk management information system to create a single view of risk. You will be responsible for extracting risk and compliance data from across the organisation to provide coherent and professional reporting to the relevant Macmillan Boards.

You will be responsible for line management of the Health & Safety (H&S) Team and delivery of H&S strategy across Macmillan. You will also manage a network of risk and compliance stakeholders and chair the Risk Leads Group ensuring a strong culture of risk and compliance.

**About you**

You will have demonstrable experience and knowledge of designing, implementing and delivering complex Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks in a similar sized organisation. You will have strong knowledge on the relevant regulatory requirements for a charity and excellent project management skills.

You will have strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills. You have the ability to develop relationships at all levels within an organisation and have a proven track record of training and running workshops for management and project teams.

You will be able to unpick complex data from multiple sources and consolidate to provide a view of trends and issues. You understand the analysis required for developing risk and compliance insights and have experience developing comprehensive, high quality reports for Senior Management and Trustees.
