**SharePoint Migration Administrator**

**Location: Remote (Must be willing to travel to a London office occasionally)**

**As a SharePoint Migration Administrator your main responsibilities would be**:

- Work with the Information Architect (IA) to establish, for each business area, the destination site location and structure, the document libraries and document sets, the content types and templates, the labels and associated metadata.
- Work with the Records Officer to confirm the retention policies and trigger events that need to apply, based on the business area and content type.
- Work with each Business Area to organise their content into Archive, Reference and Live folders, with the Live folders to match their new destination structure.
- Work with the project team (IA, Business Analyst, SharePoint Engineer and Application Developer) to set up and configure the destination sites on the Staging environment, according to the agreed structure, labels and rules.
- Work with the Business Area to run test migrations, using ShareGate, to the Staging site and check the content has successfully migrated.
- Support the Business Area as they test the new site, structure and templates on Staging. Report and help resolve issues.
- Work with the Business Area and Project team (IA, Business Analyst, SharePoint Engineer and Application Developer) to set up and configure the destination sites on the Live environment, according to the agreed structure, templates, and rules. Test these sites before the migration is scheduled. Report and help resolve issues.
- Work with the Project Team and Business Area to run the migration, using ShareGate, to the live site and check the content has successfully migrated.
- Provide early stage support the Business Area as they work with the new structure and templates on the live site and report issues; before handing over to the Service Desk.
- Work with the Business Area to clean up content left post migration on the WA and SFS.
- Test all content is indexed and searchable from SharePoint Online, including content stored in the archives and new sites, and the results match user profiles and access rules. Report any issues or anomalies.
- Work with the IA and Records Officer to update any relevant documentation as this relates to the new site, including the Information Architecture, site lists, site ownership, access and sharing models, and Retention schedule.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Previous migration experience, from a File Share to SharePoint Online.
- Previous experience in setting up new sites on SharePoint Online, including new Document Libraries and managed folders.
- Ability to work well in a team and co-operate with others to achieve results, strong organisational and administrative skills, ability to manage a heavy and varied workload and the ability to prioritise and work to strict timetable /deadlines.
- Previous experience of working in the SharePoint Online Compliance Centre / Purview
- Knowledge of automating migration tasks with PowerShell
- Previous experience of carrying out migrations using ShareGate- Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas_._
