Network and Infrastructure Engineer

**Role Responsibilities**

MHR are recruiting for a Network and Infrastructure Engineer, specialising in the planning, development, implementation and support of Infrastructure and networking services in our privately owned datacentres.

**Who are we looking for?**

Someone from a sound IT and Networking infrastructure background who loves designing, implementing, and supporting, new solutions.

Someone who can communicate well and liaise with wider IT teams to design and maintain platforms to support our customers and our business.

Someone who loves to learn new things and is hungry to put that learning to work.

**Key Skills**:

- Liaising with 3rd party network operation centres.
- Cisco routing and Cisco switching (OSPF, VXLAN, VRF).
- IP protocol experience including (SNMP, NETFLOW, DNS, DHCP, NTP, HTTP).
- PowerShell Scripting.

Design, deployment, and support of:

- Network infrastructure, switching and routing.
- Network support, troubleshooting and changes.
- Security tiers (firewalls: Palo Alto, F5).
- SAN (Storage Area Network) systems.
- VMWare and Hyper-V hypervisor platforms.
- LAN / WAN / WLAN in Cisco environments.
- Data centre infrastructure and monitoring.

**Key Skills Desirable**
- Exposure to cloud networking and infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS)
- Azure Firewall, Azure NSG's, Azure vNet.
- SDN Technologies.
- NAC Technologies.
- DDoS Technologies.
- Zero trust network strategies.
