**Overview**:
As a Press Brake Operator, your primary responsibility is to operate machinery used for bending and shaping metal sheets and plates according to precise specifications. You will play a critical role in the manufacturing process by producing high-quality metal components that meet the required specifications and standards.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Setting up and preparing the press brake machine for operation, including selecting the appropriate tools and materials.

2. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings or blueprints to understand the required dimensions and tolerances for each part.

3. Programming the machine’s computer numerical control (CNC) system to ensure accurate bending angles and dimensions.

4. Loading metal sheets or plates onto the machine and positioning them correctly for bending.

5. Monitoring the machine during operation to ensure that parts are formed according to specifications and adjusting settings as needed.

6. Inspecting finished parts for quality, accuracy, and any defects, and making adjustments to the machine as necessary.

7. Performing routine maintenance on the press brake machine to keep it in good working condition.

8. Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

**Salary**: £14.37 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Press Brake Operator: 3 years (preferred)
