Restaurant Host/hostess

The iconic Box Tree restaurant in Ilkley has an exciting opportunity for the role of Host/Hostess. The Box Tree has an infamous long history in the fine dining restaurant sector in Northern England. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who prides themselves on delivering world class customer service. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years working in the hospitality sector and ideally at multi rosette fine dining level. Salary starting from £25,000 per annum plus gratuities.

The working week is Wednesday to Sunday. The restaurant is open for Dinner Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and for lunch service on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We are looking for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcoming Guests: Warmly welcome all guests upon their arrival, ensuring their first impression of The Box Tree is a positive one.
- Reservations: Manage guests moving through from the bar area into the dining rooms and also making reservations through the booking system.
- Bar Experience is required
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service and kitchen teams to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain Atmosphere: Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and exude the ambiance for which The Box Tree is renowned.
- Familiarise oneself with the menu, drinks and wine list and other restaurant details to provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information.
