The Lakeside Cafe, are currently recruiting for a kitchen assistant to join our team.

The successful applicant will have some experience of working in a commercial kitchen environment and have an interest in progressing in the kitchen.

A typical day will involve assisting the chef‘s to prepare ingredients before service, making and presenting the dishes on the menu and helping with daily cleaning duties.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

- To work closely with the chef’s to ensure efficiently and food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, served efficiently and is consistent.
- Willing to learn
- Self-motivated
- Be organised and have good communication skills
- Baking is a bonus but not a requirement
- At least 1-2 years experience needed.
- Must be able to work weekends

Salary will be based on experience.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £9.65-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability
