- Key accountabilities:_
- Welcome customers when they arrive at the bistro and Introduce the menu including daily or seasonal menu specials
- Maintain high standards of hygiene at the premise
- Take customers' orders for food and drink
- Prepare hot and cold drinks and serve them to customers
- Collect food orders from the kitchen, verify that they are correct, and serve them to customers
- Ensure that customers are satisfied with their meals
- Remove used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables
- Prepare cheques and process cash and credit card payments and returns change to customers if necessary
- Taking takeaway orders over the phone as well as packaging takeaway orders
- Set tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware and refill condiments
- Maintain familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information
- Any other duties directed by your line manager

We take pride in serving traditional Italian cuisine from the bistro to the doorstep of our beloved customers, in both Dorset and Somerset.
