Our client in Camberley is looking for a Mortgage and Protection Advisor to join their team. You will be responsible for reviewing the mortgage and protection requirements across a wide range of clients. Within this role you have the opportunity to earna great bonus as well.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Complete a thorough customer fact-find
- Gather information to fully understand the client’s financial situation, including their month income and expenditure
- Developing and maintaining a client base with a view to securing protection and general insurance business and looking for any other opportunities to generate revenue
- From information gathered assess client Mortgage suitability giving full consideration the assessment of client affordability
- Provision of a full service included the appropriate advice on life protection
- Maximising mortgage sales potential with a proactive and ethical approach to business development and securing new clients
- Maintain all lines of communication between mortgage lenders, estate agents and solicitors to aid the client transactions and provide a client centric approach
- Ensure all interactions and maintenance of data is done so in strict compliance with GDPR
- High level of product knowledge to be able to advise and provide accurate and effective advice to client
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies;
- Updating colleagues on new initiatives and other pertinent issues
- All actions must comply with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Regulatory requirement, Industry rules and Guidelines

**Personal Attributes**:

- A minimum of two years’ experience within a similar position
- Good understanding of Mortgage and Protection
- Demonstrate a consistent high standard of work and attention to detail
- Strong numerical skills
- Good working knowledge of specialist system used
- Advance Excel and Word skills
- Punctual and presentable
- Good team player
- Willingness to travel to client’s locations
- Customer Service focused
