**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner to join the teams at Way Forward which provide Care at Home and Housing Support. The Way Forward delivers from three sites based in the Maryhill, Broomhill and Govan areas of Glasgow. The Senior Practitioner will provide direction and guidance to a team supporting individuals within individual flats and their communities to improve their mental health and wellbeing. Way Forward supports people with complex mental health issues in all aspects of their day-to-day living offering emotional and practical support to encourage them to live fulfilled and meaningful lives. Working with service users to define their own support plans the Senior Practitioner will coordinate, evaluate and review this support while providing mentorship to Practitioners.

You don’t need any specific qualifications to join us, but what you do need is the right attitude and values and a willingness to undertake the relevant SVQ which will be fully funded. We’re looking for someone with great people skills who are honest, reliable and resilient in challenging situations. You should be motivated and passionate about leading people to reach their full potential.

As senior practitioner you will typically be Mon-Fri, however, there may be a requirement to work some weekends, sleepovers and participate in the ‘on call’ rota.
