The Old Dairy Farm Nursery is a family run business, located on our working farm. The old farm cottages are now a 50-place nursery with extensive outdoor provision, we have our own chickens, views of the stunning Southdowns National Park, our own forest school site, outdoor classrooms, and lots more.

We are looking for level 3 qualified Educators and a Room Leaders to join our team.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children, and an exciting and inspirational child led approach to early years education.

We require full time applicants working Monday - Friday between the hours of 07.15-18.30. Part time applicants will also be considered.

Requirements; full and relevant Level 3 Early years qualification, DBS and three satisfactory references will need to be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise a team of nursery staff members
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities and day plans
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behaviour, and development
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate special events or activities

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £26,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 41 per week
