Join us as an Artificial Intelligence Product Owner
- This is an exciting role in which you’ll future proof how customers engage with us through the creation, development, and scaling of AI conversation assistants and all other help and support platforms
- Through data analysis, you’ll find opportunities to develop capabilities and new customer experiences assistants including building journeys, optimising Natural Language understanding (NLU), and identifying new initiatives
- The work you do will ensure we’re equipped to serve our customers efficiently, harnessing our digital capabilities
- This role is available for a period of six months
**What you'll do**:
We’ll look to you to ensure the delivery and optimisation of new and innovative approaches to AI. You’ll focus specifically on new and emerging technologies that offer demonstrable improvements to customer experiences as measured through customer satisfaction and customer contact reduction in non-digital channels. As such, you’ll develop help and support capability, manage a backlog, and create a roadmap that will enable the delivery our objectives and meet key performance indicators.
Working with stakeholders from across the organisation you’ll understand customer’s needs, and using conversational AI, customer testing, and data, you’ll design new journeys and experiences for conversation assistants.
You’ll also be responsible for:
- Driving all aspects of the delivery by setting the product vision and owning the definition, management, and prioritisation of the backlog and using agile methodologies to develop and release value to customers
- Looking at our strategy for generate AI and machine learning, identifying what is needed to achieve it
- Completing proof of concepts and pilots to determine the success of the initiatives and then creating a delivery plan for our delivery team to implement
- Ensuring that all initiatives in this area comply with our ethics framework
- Leading a team of like-minded individuals, coaching, and supporting where needed
- Creating a great place to work with own behaviours and example, building an inclusive culture
**The skills you'll need**:
We’re looking for someone with experience working with AI powered products and technology and integrating with APIs to build new features and journeys that enhance the customer experience and enable personalisation. You’ll have knowledge of machine learning, key metrics, current technologies within AI, and virtual assistants with voice capabilities. You’ll also have experience working with both digital and voice based conversional assistants and generating insights through customer research across a range of research methodologies.
Along with experience of working in an Agile environment using scrum and Kanban methodology, you’ll have knowledge of delivering products through continuous improvement using data, insights, value slicing, and A/B testing.
We’re also looking for:
- Experience in digital delivery, creating and delivering new or B2C products
- Knowledge and experience of innovation and design thinking methodologies, tools, and processes and the ability to adapt in changing environments and scenarios
- The ability to interpret a vision and strategy and break it down into a prioritised lists of user stories and acceptance criteria
- The ability to collaborate, share knowledge, educate, and coach relevant teams and present technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- The ability to manage a range of stakeholders in large, complex environments and communicate, influence, inform, and challenge others
