Hive is the UK’s leading smart heating brand, holding over 50% market share of all smart thermostats sold in the UK. Now that the challenge of Net Zero is greater than ever, Hive has a crucial part to play in helping customers to reduce their carbon emissions and save them money in the process.
To achieve this goal, the Hive App is undergoing a significant redevelopment with the aim of revolutionising the way customers interact with our products and services to help them better manage their homes energy usage and live more sustainably.
We need a **Product Owner** **to support the Hive App Product team** for the redevelopment of Hive app and grow the Hive ecosystem as we transition our customers to a Net Zero future. You’ll design, build, deliver and maintain connected experiences for the Net Zero line of business and our customers, to help them better manage their homes and live more sustainably.
**Location**: You can work at home/office; we have people working all over the UK but also a range of office locations.

**Responsibilities**
- Design and implement features and improvements for the Hive App that help our customers on their path to Net Zero
- Identify and propose opportunities, customer needs and use-cases for our products and services on the Hive App
- Perform qualitative and quantitative research to explore and validate feature concept and identify customer pain points to maintain a market leading experience for Hive products and services.
- Review the analytics of the Hive App and its products and identify opportunities to improve the CX and reduce customer pain points
- Lead the entire feature development lifecycle, starting from ideation, design, and development to analysis
- Work closely with Product Designers and Researchers to translate insights and ideas into a market-leading user experience.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the implementation of features that deliver the best possible user experience, incorporating usability and performance considerations
- ** Lead project delivery with support from operational teams to deliver a high-quality product and outstanding customer experience post purchase and throughout the in-life experience.**
**Experience + Skills**
- 1+ years Product Management experience
- Worked within the mobile app space
**Capabilities**
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing app user experiences
- Proficient in user research and utilising analytics data
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of defining user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to define and scope new product features
- Experience of product backlog management and feature / ticket prioritisation
- Proficient in leveraging insights to drive data-driven product decisions and strategies
