Role: Warehouse Operative with current FLT Licence

Location: Elland, West Yorkshire

Contract: Permanent working on a continental shift basis (4 on 4 off rotating days and nights).

As a production technician you will a key part of the process to ensure our products are manufactured on time and to the highest standards.

We invented the first industrial strength polymer safety barrier, revolutionising workplace safety. We’ve been improving world standards ever since, introducing further advanced safety solutions, including our next generation Rackeye IOT safety device.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining Health & safety standards and ensuring safe working practices at all times.
- Transporting goods between departments
- Loading and unloading vehicles with an FLT.
- Undertaking relevant system transactions using a handheld scanner.
- Ensuring that all deliveries meet specified customer requirements on time and in full.
- Working inline with standard operating procedures to maintain accurate inventory control.
- Providing the following services to production;
- The receiving & storing of goods from all sources.
- Supplying and removing of goods to and from the manufacturing unit.
- The preparation and consolidation of customer dispatch requirements.
- The loading and unloading of vehicles with an FLT.
- The accurate locating and storing of product, including the management of all stock using system designated transactions.
- Ensuring all goods are kept in 1st class condition.
- Maintaining and implementing housekeeping standards across all areas within the department.
- Providing assistance and support to the Warehouse Manager in all areas of the warehousing & distribution functions.

The Person:
Essential
- Good knowledge and experience of working in a warehousing & logistics environment.
- **A current FLT Licence (Flexi/Bendi preferred although a reach licence will be considered).**:

- Knowledge of health & safety requirements within the working environment.
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures.
- Team player able to work under own initiative.

**Qualifications**:

- **FLT Licence (Flexi/Bendi preferred although not essential)**:

- **Reach FLT Licence only considered acceptable in the absence of a Flexi/Bendi Licence.**:

- **Full UK Driving Licence (Preferred not essential)**
