Treasury Market Risk Manager

Goodman Masson are working with a large multinational bank to source a Treasury Market Risk Manager with very good knowledge of the risks taken by Markets Treasury and offering analysis as required and developing a knowledge of applicable accounting lawsand regulations.
**Responsibilities of the role will include**:
- Keeping an eye on market risk activities and limitations, and letting senior management know about the most important risks and problems.
- Assisting with important regulatory activities and overseeing the infrastructure of the systems used to deliver risk management that complies with high standards.
- Creating a solid partnership with the business, product control, other MRMs, and numerous other stakeholders while also being able to challenge them when appropriate.
- Helping to make the controls around the main sources of interest rate risk in the banking book stronger.
- A solid grasp of valuation and hedging.
- Strong understanding of global financial markets and products.
