Counsellor (Relief)

In our new Confidential Conversations Counselling Service we bring our counselling expertise into workplaces across the public and private sectors, to further and higher education colleges and to universities. It is a vital service helping professionals and students to strengthen and manage their wellbeing and mental health.

Counselling is delivered face to face and online. We offer short term counselling up to 6 sessions and longer term counselling up to 15 sessions.

To do this role you will need to be qualified at Diploma level in Counselling/Art Therapy and ideally hold a qualification in Training and Clinical Supervision. You will also need to be a strong self motivator, be able to work to a broad remit where priorities can change on a daily basis and be interested in flexible working.

As a relief member of staff, you will be able to work flexibly as your availability allows, there is also the potential of moving to a fixed term or permanent contract in the future.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks.
