Cornucopia are partnering with a leading marketing and manufacturing organisation on an immediate requirement for an API Integration Engineer We are looking an experienced individual who has an excellent background in designing, implementing and maintainingAPIs, ensuring the business and their clients, remain at the forefront of the market.

**What you’ll be doing
**We are seeking a highly motivated API Integration Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs to connect our systems with those of our clients and partners. You will workclosely with other teams to ensure that the integration is seamless and meets the needs of our users.
- Design and implement APIs to facilitate communication and data exchange between systems.
- Test and debug APIs to ensure that they are functioning as expected.
- Document APIs to ensure that they are well understood by others.
- Monitor the performance of APIs and make any necessary changes to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other teams, including software development, product management, and QA, to ensure that the integration is seamless and meets the needs of our users.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the API integration space.
- Visiting our customers to ensure systems are working correctly.

**Skills**:

- Commercial experience designing and implementing APIs
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working across departments inc. QA, Software Development
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with other technologies inc. programming languages, databases
