**The Role**
The Talent Operations Specialist is a newly-created role within the Talent Fulfilment team, responsible for day-to-day operations within the team, delivering and supporting key Elastic Team Member initiatives across Distributed.
**Responsibilities**
- Ownership of the new Elastic Team Member onboarding process, ensuring all Elastic Team Members have a consistent and seamless experience
- Ownership of the Elastic Team member offboarding process, ensuring leaver reasons are accurately captured & offboarding from an internal/external systems perspective is carried out to a high standard
- Formatting Elastic Team member CVs onto a Distributed branded template using an external platform ensuring compliance with the agreed formatting guidelines
- Coordinating and scheduling the ETM assessment & interview process
- Scheduling the ordering & collection of equipment for new Elastic Team Members, along with organising access to internal & external systems.
- Prepare and maintain e-files and Elastic Team Member documentation including contracts, legal documentation and personal information
- Own the Elastic Team Member data management across the internal ATS & Distributed’s platform, ensuring that all systems are up to date with accurate data
- Support the Talent Fulfilment Team as the first point of contact for all Elastic Team Member queries, escalating when required
- Supporting the Talent Acquisition, Community, Delivery & Finance team, collating & updating information, and assisting with related queries
- Supporting the Talent Fulfilment Director with the development, implementation and maintenance of Elastic Team Member systems, policies, and procedures; proactively making suggestions for improvement when they’re identified
- Document tasks and actions from Talent Fulfilment team meetings and update the team task management board accordingly
- Own team task management board on Notion, making sure that weekly updates are made in line with team objectives from Company Mission Control
**Requirements**:
- A confident contributor skilled in optimising processes within a People and/or Recruitment function
- An interest in gaining more HR and People experience to develop their career further. Previous experience in a People/HR role is advantageous although not essential; experience in Admin, Office Manager, Exec Assistant or similar roles will be considered
- Experienced with modern software suites such as Microsoft Office & Google Drive
- An ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of internal & external commercial stakeholders
- An adaptable team player, comfortable balancing multiple priorities and delivering at pace
- A keen eye for detail, skilled with appraising processes and identifying potential improvements, and proactively raising these
- Experience working in a Start-Up environment and/or remote teams is highly desirable
