Our specialist Legal Costs team have a new vacancy. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Costs Lawyer or a Costs Draftsperson working towards qualification to join our highly acclaimed Legal Costs team.

This would be an ideal position for someone with at least 6 months Legal Costs experience.
- Other information

**Your duties will include**:

- Drafting bills of costs, replying to points of dispute, and preparing costs budgets;
- Communicating with internal teams, barristers and opponents;
- Preparing written submissions justifying legal costs;
**You will ideally**:

- Be a qualified costs lawyer or have a law degree, LPC and/or CILEX qualifications;
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Be hard working with good analytical and organisational skills to manage and prioritise a busy workload;
- Be comfortable working to deadlines and targets;
- Possess excellent IT skills particularly in relation to using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word;
- Have some relevant legal experience gained within a Costs team and previous experience as a Costs Lawyer will be highly advantageous, but not essential.

As this role requires someone with previous experience within this field, you will have a good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, and we will continue to support and develop your knowledge in Legal Costs.

If you demonstrate drive and commitment and are still pursuing qualifications (solicitor/CILEx/ACL), we will support you in completing them.
