Lithographic Print Assistant

Main Responsibilities**Key responsibilities for this role will be**:

- To support the Lithographic Printer in the operation of the Heidelberg XL Printing Press.
- To request stock from the warehouse and prepare material to be printed.
- To ensure all plates are present to correspond with the print list supplied from the production planner.
- To undertake various maintenance task under full supervision from the Lithographic Printer.
- The operation of various pieces of handling equipment including pallet turners / Fork Lift Trucks / Electric pallet trucks.
- Good understanding of the equipment and the basic operation of the XL feeder and logistics
- Excellent team working skills and a good attitude
- Operation of Fork Lift Trucks / Electric Pallet Trucks / Pallet turners
- Good Understanding and high standards of housekeeping and Health & Safety within the department.
- Pallet turner training
- Fork Lift Truck Licence
- Electric Pallet Truck Licence
