**Java Developer - eCommerce**

A leading software provider, founded in 2011 with a vision to build a new class of retail system is looking for a Java Engineer to join their team in Hertfordshire.

You, as the Java Developer, will be working alongside ex-Google employees developing high-quality, testable and well-documented software in Java. You will also be working alongside Technical Architects and Development Managers to convert new technical specifications.

They are looking for a Java Developer (eCommerce) with the following:

- Some commercial Java development experience
- Experience with Spring and microservices architecture
- Enjoys challenging projects and problem-solving
- A keen interest to learn and work with new technologies and methodologies (pair-programming, BDD, TDD)

This Java Developer will also get to research and work with modern technologies. Their stack includes **Java, Spring, microservices, AWS, Docker**and**Kubernetes**. You'll be developing for some of the world's most successful and largest ecommerce players including Harrods and Klarna

**Position based 5 days p/week in Hertford office**
