We act as intermediaries between travellers and travel suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and tour operators. We are the sub-agents of the main agent of IATA based in the UK. We operate in the travel industry and act as a sub-agent of the main agent who is working under the IATA regulations. We leverage to provide personalized recommendations and advice to our clients. We also handle tasks such as booking flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and excursions, ensuring that all the necessary arrangements are made smoothly. We can also provide valuable insights on travel insurance, and local customs, helping travellers make informed decisions and avoid potential pitfalls.

As a Sales Agent, the employee will need to:

- Selling holiday packages, flight tickets and hotel deals
- Inform customers of changes like cancelled flights
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints
- Talk to customers to understand their needs
- Help customers find a suitable package holiday or plan independent travel
- Advise customers about passports, insurance, visas, vaccinations, tours and vehicle hire
- Keep up to date with developments in the travel industry
- Promoting and marketing the business
- Meet sales targets
- Invoicing customers for due payments
- Handling vendor and traveller phone calls
- Coordinate with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet there requirements
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
- Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

Skills required:
The employee will need to have:

- Computer literacy in Excel and Word
- Management of global distribution software (GDS), which includes Galileo and Amadeus
- Familiarity with Sabre and GDS, a plus
- Knowledge of the travel industry and local suppliers
- Experience with customer support systems
- Good communication skills
- Sales and customer-service skills
- Diplomacy and tact
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- Resilience to cope with long hours and pressure at peak times
- Innovation and energy
- Sound judgement with attention to detail
- A genuine interest in travel
- An awareness of the current trends in travel (e.g. sustainable tourism) and knowledge of popular and upcoming destinations is also important
- The ability to sell ideas, products and services
- An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for on-going communication with customers and business associates
- Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
- Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills

- The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload and think strategically
- Proficiency in English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
