We are recruiting for an Inventory Manager to lead the Inventory Team and manage all inventory across the business. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for leading all elements of Inventory Control and Management across the Moove UK supply chain. In addition, this role will lead, manage and coach a team of inventory controllers across multiple sites. They will evaluate and develop current practices and implement a best practice approach to Inventory Management whilst acting as a conduit between key areas of the business to optimise healthy stock levels. They will ensure that strict practice and processes are adhered to across the sites, promoting a high-level stock accuracy and reporting.
- Standard 40 hr week, Monday - Friday 0800-1700hrs, although some flexibility may be required._
- Weekend work is likley to be common where site works cannot take place during normal site operation; Sundays are possible but expected to be rare. Time will be given off in lieu for weekend work._
- Create and drive the Moove strategy for Inventory Management processes and practices across multiple sites. Drive engagement with key stakeholders to implement best practice to enable the company to improve stock accuracy and reduces stock costs. Embed all KPIs across the Inventory Management and promote consistency across our systems in order to monitor weekly performance and identify areas of improvement. Ensure the physical stock replicates the stock holding within our ERP system and investigate variances, leading to a greater understanding of our data capture weaknesses. Identify stock at risk, and poor quality stock, working with key stakeholders in order to provide for but reduce the risk of stock obsolescence in the most economic solutions. Implement monthly analysis, reporting and reviews of what is deemed as ‘Slow-Moving or Non-Moving’ SKUs. Work with product management to recommend on SKU’s rationalisation whilst helping deliver Moove’s portfolio agenda. Work with Operations teams to reduce over usage and waste. Work with the Supply Chain teams and S&OP to ensure optimal utilisation of space at multiple sites to maximise operational capacity. Responsible that HMRC and SOX guidelines are met within an inventory remit, ensuring 100% compliance for audit purposes. Manage relationships and contracts with external partners in relation to both stock and non-stock inventory (e.g. pallets) To lead coach and develop a team of inventory controllers within the supply chain team ensuring workloads and workstreams are completed in a timely manner. Responsible for managing and developing the team members to provide excellent service and performance. Managing resources and prioritising workloads within the team.

- Graduate calibre
- Real talk to drive actions with management level experience, leading inventory activities in an FMCG business.
- Strong analytic skills to assess drive business performance in a dynamic business context.
- Open mind with experience of driving a Continuous Improvement culture across all inventory management activity to optimise service to the end customer and drive efficiencies and cost savings.
- Experience of working within an ERP based environment
- Strong business acumen and understanding priorities and functional requirements.
- Problem solving, reliability, judgement, resilience, integrity and ability to simplify complex sitiuations.
**DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL**
- Experience of integrating teams into one aligned way of working.
- Gravitas and influencing skills necessary to influence multiple stakeholders at a variety of levels from senior stakeholders (both internally and externally) to engaging with colleagues.
