**CNC Machinist**

**Working Schedule**:
**6am - 2pm Monday to Friday**

**2pm - 00:30 Monday to Thursday**

Machine: DB110s Horizontal Borer, Fanuc controlled

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
Set up and operate the DB110s Horizontal Borer machine with Fanuc control.

Independently program the machine using G-code or other relevant programming languages.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.

Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices.

Calculate machine speed, feed rates, and depths of cuts for efficient and accurate machining.

Conduct test runs to ensure the quality and accuracy of machine setups and programs.

Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to ensure they meet specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, including tool wear, cutting problems, and programming errors.

Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to ensure effective workflow and quality production.

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably with experience on a DB110s Horizontal Borer with Fanuc control.

Strong knowledge of operating and programming CNC machines.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Skilled in using precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.

Ability to calculate machining parameters and make adjustments for optimal performance.

Competence in programming CNC controls using G-code or similar programming languages.

Experience with setting up cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.

Ability to work independently and unsupervised.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Working Conditions**:
Full-time position, working on a shift schedule.

The work environment may involve noise and exposure to cutting fluids.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided and must be worn as required.
