**About us**

We are a long established Cafe in St Andrews.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in food preparation and cooking initialy under supervision from head cook.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of perishable items.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Help with meal preparation and assembly as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Note: This position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, and holidays, may be required.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time
Part-time hours: 12.5 - 15 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
