Mutual Vision specialises in delivering core banking and consumer focussed digital banking solutions to Building Societies, specialist banks and other specialist lenders.

Mutual Vision has embarked on an exciting new strategy to transform and grow the business and disrupt the market it serves by creating a Digital Platform / Ecosystem. This entails delivering a range of in-house and third-party products and technologies to its customers and their users as well as developing a community of solution providers.

**Who are we looking for?**

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Playing an active role as part of the senior leadership team and MV Board.
- Responsible for Finance, Administration and Human Resource functions.
- Managing supplier relationship at a financial and contractual level.
- Oversee commercial and contractual arrangements with customers, suppliers and other third parties, with the support of third-party professional advisers.
- Interfacing with external third parties (Banks, Legal, Audit, Insurance, Pensions, Shareholders and prospective investors).
- Work with the CEO and the leadership team to further develop the MV business strategy and assist in attracting additional investment and commitment from stakeholders.
- Promoting greater levels of commercial acumen and accountability within the business.
- Performance of company secretarial duties.
- Own and coordinate risk registers for the business.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-Have**:
In addition to the required professional competencies, it is essential that the postholder is comfortable working as part of a tightly knit leadership team where collaborative working is critical. The post holder will need to be tenacious, proactive, dynamic and flexible, with a strong alignment to the values and ethics of the Mutual sector.
- Qualified accountant
- Team management experience
- Working knowledge of Sage 50 accounts (or similar)
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience of audit - could be internal/external and financial or operational
- Experience of working with professional advisors
- Accurate, professional, good time management, clear communicator, positive attitude
- Flexible working approach

**Nice to have**:

- Project accounting experience
- ISO27001 experience
- Exposure to HR / Legal functions of an SME
- Exposure to raising debt / equity funding
- Experience of working within a technology / software business (ideally within a FinTech or a SaaS (Software as a Service) business
- Experience of working within a regulated sector (ideally financial services)
