Audio Visual Project Manger

**Main Purpose of Position**

The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising all business aspects of Audio Visual projects for Fluid AV, spanning various locations such as Corporate Establishments, Education, Museums, Visitor Centres, Retail Stores and Places of Worship. These projects will mainly be located in NI, ROI, IOM, and GB, although there is potential for sites throughout Europe.

As the primary point of contact between the client and the company, the Project Manager must ensure that all contractual obligations are met. They are responsible for managing the project's budget and schedule requirements, both internally with the project team and externally with the client. The role entails overseeing the procurement, project engineering, rack build, installation, and programming stages of each project.

The Project Manager should possess the ability to foster and maintain a strong partnership with both the end user, contractors and Fluid AV internal parties.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- One hundred percent focus on and adherence to the company policy on health and safety
- Ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner to our clients’ satisfaction and in compliance with all contract requirements.
- Take full responsibility of commercial and contractual obligations of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets, and provide updates as required.
- Communicate project progress and status, both internally and with the client, through regular daily, weekly, and monthly project logs, reports, and updates.
- Manage project scheduling and staffing with in-house and sub-contracted labour.
- Oversee project site managers and installers ensuring projects schedules are adhered to.
- Ensure that final documentation packages (i.e. O & M manuals, ‘as-built’ schematics, etc.) are prepared and contract close-out occurs in a timely manner.
- Coordinate invoicing and assist in collecting accounts receivable
- Forecast invoicing and work effort throughout portfolio.
- Perform other activities and assume further responsibilities as projects demand and/or as directed by the immediate manager.
- Nurturing client relationships ensuring that clients always receive the highest levels of customer service
- Responding to clients in a timely manner ensuring that the client is always updated on progress
- Sharing knowledge with the Fluid AV team, arranging coaching support and training where necessary to help team members develop their skills in installation techniques and best practice
- Attends all relevant training as requested for both legislative compliance and personal development

**Key Skills required by the post holder**
- Strong ability to work alone and on own initiative
- Be a good team member with a “can do” attitude
- Be organised, flexible and able to approach different types of tasks during the working day
- Very good communication skills
- Manage all aspects of project scheduling
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining focus on budget and effective project delivery
- Liase with suppliers on lead times
- Attend project handover meetings
- Work closely with the design team to ensure all drawings and supporting documentation is achieved
- Ensure that all Health & Safety documentation are maintained
- Identify needs for Method Statements & Risk Assessments (RAMS) and produce effective documentation
- Preparing all documentation
- Be willing and able to work both in NI, ROI and UK

**Your Skills and Experience**
- 3+ years' Project Management experience, preferably within the AV industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full driving license
- Valid passport (some international travel could be required)
- CSR or CSCS card advantageous
- Project Management qualifications advantageous

**Hours**: Hours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. A flexible approach to working hours is required to ensure installations are completed on time and to company standards. Weekends may be required periodically but advanced notice will be provided.
