**The Role**:
The Associate Director of Capacity and Casting role requires a hands-on leader to further develop a nascent capacity and casting function supporting Mindshare’s global practices. This role requires a strategic problem solver with experience translating revenue forecasts into people and skills needed to meet current and future client commitments. This role will also collaborate with practice leads, client teams, finance, and GroupM people planning teams to cast the _right_ people into the right roles. This role will collect, consolidate and analyse time tracking data to understand actual vs. planned time spent across a variety of dimensions.

This is role is both strategic and operational requiring collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders, understanding internal processes / systems, reconciling disparate data sources, establishing scalable processes and, as needed, building tools to support new processes.

As an Associate Director of Capacity Planning and Casting, you are equal parts strategic thinker, business analyst, process designer, and financial modeler.

You understand the importance of capacity planning and casting within a professional services organization and how it impacts business profitability.

You understand that capacity planning and casting require equal amounts of art and science.

You excel at defining the problem, crafting a scalable solution, connecting the dots and strive for striking the balance between simplicity, effectiveness, progress and quality.

You are an organized, problem-solving go-getter that can seamlessly switch between a strategic and tactical viewpoint.

You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves to do the work as well as driving progress and accountability from others.

You have ease of communication and an understanding of digital marketing, data and technology capabilities, allowing effective interaction with our specialist functions and clients.

You understand how to drive understanding and adoption of new processes.

You are comfortable diving into the unknown and collaborating with others to create clarity from ambiguity.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Proven experience with forecasting, talent casting/resource management, and/or consulting operations within a large, complex professional services firm or agency
- Proficient with excel and advanced modelling skills
- Strong analytical skills and adept at connecting and combining disparate data sets
- Proven management consulting skills including process design and change management
- Problem solver and challenger of status quo
- Comfortable managing and driving multiple, concurrent initiatives
- Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with senior internal stakeholders
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately and professionally
- Ability to foster collaborative relationsh
