The Bridgend Office currently has an exciting vacancy for a Senior Engineer (Project Support) to take a leading role in the delivery of a portfolio of projects for one of our external clients.

Reporting to the Project Engineer you will play a key role in providing technical guidance and direction to the project team for the civil and structural engineering disciplines, assisting with project management, and will act as a key enabler by linkingthe clients team with the supply chain and designers. As an aspect of this role requires the management of temporary works, the role is site based but will require frequent interaction with the design team which is off site.

Your Will:

- Act as liaison between the client’s project team and suppliers to resolve site queries and resolve areas of ambiguity.
- Identify project risks, discussing with the project team and mitigating.
- Undertake site visits, surveys and investigations and supervision.
- Ensure work is undertaken in compliance with clients’ quality standards and processes.
- Ensure work is undertaken in compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Collaborate with the client and suppliers to ensure the project programme is achieved.
- Work collaboratively with clients and supply chain to progress projects.
- Help with developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

We're looking for:

- Someone Working towards or have, a Degree / HND / HNC / BTEC Level 4 (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or/and working towards the attainment of professional qualifications with the ICE or IStructE.
- Relevant experience in design, construction and project management activities as described in the technical requirements
- Computer literate particularly with packages such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civils 3D (desirable).
- Willingness to work in other UK offices for short term assignments.
- Knowledge of BIM desirable.
- UK/EEC driving licence and access to transport.
