Hard Services Operations Manager

Main Duties
- Efficiently and cost effectively manage and develop the contract Business Unit
- Manage and develop a professional and effective operational team, ensuring objectives are set, monitored and achieved and that all employees are appraised and have a personal development plan
- Develop a succession plan for all key roles within your team
- Meet and/or exceed financial targets including but not limited to WIP, debt and GRN process
- Build positive and proactive working relationships with the customer, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations
- Ensure that all PPM and Reactive calls, SLA's and KPI's, including the Company's set targets, are met for the account
- Provide management information/reporting as required
- Monitor and control supplier, sub-contractor and labour costs
- Develop, communicate and implement local Strategy as agreed
- Lead by example with regard to health and safety, compliance with statutory and contractual legislative requirements
- Discern and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time
- Recognize and comply with company policies and procedures
- Always carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
- Comply with all QHSE policies and procedures
- Attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities, setting a positive example and promoting participation
- Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
- Working within the MITIE values - core competencies
- Be responsible for the management, direction and continued development of members of the Hard Service and Fabric Teams within the respective Business Units
- Successfully deliver the Hard Service and Fabric Operation to the agreed standards ensuring Commercial awareness
- Oversee and manage the delivery model working closely with the Account senior management teams and other support functions across the business
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, communication and relationship management
- Implement a positive health and safety culture
