Night Porter

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic night porter to join our hard working team.

**JOB SUMMARY**

As Night Porter, you will ensure that all aspects of the Night Porter duties are carried out to the highest possible standard in accordance with the Hotel's policies and procedures. To maintain a high level of cleanliness, ensuring that all areas are left extremely clean and tidy at all times. To ensure the security of all guests and hotel property and to work within the Hotel's Fire, Health and Safety Guidelines at all times.

**Skills/ Criteria**
- Be extremely reliable, trustworthy and professional at all times.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Bar experience preferred but not essential
- To be able to cope well under pressure and work on own initiative in a busy environment.
- Previous Night Porter experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

**Position Duties & Responsibilities**
- The service of light food and drinks to hotel residents ensuring that all bills are processed accurately.
- Adhering to all Fire, Health and Safety Procedures ensuring the safety of staff and guests at all times on hotel premises.
- To complete thorough Lock Up Checks as detailed in the Hotel’s Policies and Procedures.
- To ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- To carry out all additional duties as instructed by the Duty Manager.

Hours of Work: Night shift typically commences at 11.00pm and finishes at 8.00am. 2-3 nights per week.
