A vacancy has arisen for an Operative based at our Refiner in Goverseth (Foxhole, Cornwall).
The Operative will be part of a team that runs the china clay refining process. The role is focusing on producing products to the correct quality and in accordance with the company EHS policies and management instructions.
The role involves monitoring the refining processes which, although many are managed through automated process control, often require manual intervention, checking and adjustment. This means that while the role will involve sitting at a workstation, there are many opportunities to get outside and manage the process with more “hands on”.
Responsible for operating equipment across the large site, to ensure that production runs smoothly; whilst supporting the site under various UK Health and Safety regulations The aim is to safely meet the required production tonnage at the right quality and cost.Maintaining the health, safety and environmental standards on site, for yourself and others around you.**What’s in it for you?**
