You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *_

**Location: Par**

**Sociable lady who likes going out seeks a personal assistant to encourage and support her to develop her independent living skills. She has learning disabilities and is looking for someone patient and proactive.**

**Support required**:

- Support to develop living skills - cooking, going out, using public transport, etc.

**Hourly rate of pay**: £14.72

**Hours per week**: 20

**Working schedule**:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, with the occasional weekend

Around 6 hours each day

**Essential**:

- Valid DBS
- Public Liability Insurance
- Driving licence
- Previous experience in a support role
- Knowledge or experience supporting people with learning disabilities
- Must be self-employed

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £14.72 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
