Morr & Co are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join a friendly, professional, and busy Marketing and BD team. Reporting into the Marketing & Business Development Director, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on a broad range of the firm’s marketing activities. This is a diverse and hands on role working across all areas of the business, where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the profile of Morr & Co.
The fundamentals of the role
- Assist the marketing and BD team with a diverse range of activities
- Support the team in maintaining the firm’s website and social channels, ensuring content is up to date, accurate and consistent
- Work with the marketing and BD team to implement the firm’s public profile and brand image
- Be a brand guardian and a brand ambassador - helping ensure all materials produced are in line with the latest brand guidelines
- Track data relating to campaigns and new business enquiries to help measure and report on ROI
- Take an active role in organising internal and external events including researching and booking venues, creating and managing invitation lists, coordinating venue bookings, catering, and travel
- Attend client events to ensure they run smoothly and help welcome and host guests
- Prepare event materials - packs and presentations
- Assist the team with implementing departmental and firmwide marketing and BD plans
- Be the main point of contact for the team for incoming enquiries and monitor the marketing inbox(s) and distribute as necessary
- Ensure that all staff are using the CRM and other marketing systems correctly and help promote best practice
- Help ensure that information about marketing and BD activities are effectively communicated to relevant people across the firm in a timely manner
- Help prepare newsletters, articles, blogs, direct mailings etc. ensuring that all content is consistent with the firm’s branding
- Administer all expenditure of the marketing and BD department, ensuring that all invoices are coded correctly and have appropriate authorisation
- Assist the Business Development and Marketing Director as required
- Deputise for team members as required
- Hold a relevant Marketing qualification
- Excellent organisation, written and verbal communication skills
- Have a creative and innovative approach to all content, comms and event planning
- Organised self-starter with ability to work under pressure and influence others
- Positive attitude and a team player with drive, enthusiasm, and the ability to think creatively
- A passion for marketing
- Driving Licence and car an advantage
