8-5 Monday to Friday (can vary slightly during peak seasons throughout the year)
Syntech are looking for an experienced NPI Technician (New Product Introduction) to join a leading bespoke food processing business based in County Monaghan, Ireland. The successful NPI Technician will have experience of factory procedures & HACCP. Previousexperience within a food processing plant would be a key element of this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation & presentation of product samples, new ideas and concepts.
- Take product from concept, through all stages of development including ingredient & packaging approval, testing, nutritional, shelf life and label the stage of production handover.
- Ensure all associated procedures, records and IMS requirements are updated to ensure a smooth transition through to production handover.
- Assist with the upkeep and development of Food Trace software.
- Reporting & review of projects with Quality Manager
- Accurate recording and presentation of trial protocols, results etc.
- Assist with Health and Safety procedures and change management for plant, process and products and ensure all are fully documented.
- Monitoring of the production process in line with Factory procedures & HACCP
