Title: Finance Executive

Reports to: Head of Finance

Location: Leach HQ Huddersfield

Hours of work: 8:30am - 5:00pm (37½)

This position reports into the Head of Finance of the company Leach based in Bradley, Huddersfield with a dotted line reporting into the CFO Museum Studio UK based in London. The incumbent will be accountable for providing a reliable and consistent financial data but also to act as a strong business partner for the companies and the Chargeurs Museum Studio (CMS) Division.

**A - Position environment / Organization**

Reports hierarchically to the Finance Controller and functionally to the CFO Museum Studio UK.

**C - Missions and Responsibilities**

**1 - Ensure the reliability, consistency, and sincerity of the accounting and financial data in compliance with local Gaap**
- Manage the accounting, with the respect of the internal controls
- Ensure to be compliant with the tax’s local rules
- Manage month-end closing to include monthly closing entries, review and approval of journal entries, reconciliation of GL accounts
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Directors

**2-** **Purchase Ledger**
- Raising supplier purchase orders
- Processing supplier invoices on the Accounts System
- Obtaining approval for payment of Invoices
- Raising payments ready for approval on bank automated system
- Filling supplier invoices electronically
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries

**3-** **Bank accounts and Petty Cash**
- Checking bank accounts daily and processing any new transactions
- Reporting any transactions that are unexpected or unusual
- Reconciling bank accounts on a weekly basis
- Controlling petty cash disbursements and accounting for all transactions

**4-** **Credit Card Processing and Expenses**
- Downloading credit card statements and receiving expense claims
- Obtaining authorization on all expense claims
- Checking credit card returns and making changes as necessary
- Posting credit card expenses on the accounts package
- Fixed asset controls
- Stock controls Management
- Nil Journals
- Assisting with month end
- Assisting with group reporting
- Job costing
- Assisting with audit
- Overhead analysis
- Cost savings

**5-** **Other bookings**
- Posting investments, amortization, for capex investments
- Suggesting provisions to cover risks
- Following any litigations and claims to update the accounting
- Booking any other operations
- To support and cover other roles within the finance team
- Month End
- Assisting with posting month end Journals
- Stock Controls
- Reconciling nominal ledgers
- Fixed Asset registers

**D - Expected Skills and Experience**
- Experience in accounting, finance or related field (AAT will be a plus), a willingness to train would be an advantage
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a Finance Role
- Knowledge of accounting and finance, corporate law, customs regulation
- Knowledge of UK GAAP standards
- Ability to synthetize and analyze, rigor
- Knowledge of IFRS standards is a real plus
- Good excel skills and experience of using an accounts package
- You need to be a good all-rounder who enjoys varietyxecutive

- Evaluate and mitigate risks to the organization
- Prepare and present reports to the board of directors

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably as an executive.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Sound financial acumen and experience managing budgets
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices

**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
