**Job description**
Working with DHL, the worlds leading logistics provider you will be working as part of a team that provides transport services worldwide. You will also be responsible for contacting customers and transport suppliers to ensure shipments are collected and deliveredon time.This is a temp to perm contract via Rapier Employment
Hours are flexible although working a daytime shift Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs per week.
Partial home working will be available after training
Duties include:

- Coordinating transport solutions for clients
- Load schedule planning
- Engaging with subcontractors and third party suppliers
- Managing return loads
- Escalation of issues to senior management
- Spot pricing for adhoc shipments
- Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that DHL, provides the Customer with a best in class supply chain solution through the use of mutually agreed carriers
- TRAINING PROVIDED

Experience/Skills Required:

- Strong and effective organising, planning and process work methods.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- A good degree of computer literacy, with a comprehensive working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Be a good team player.
