Our client is a leading insurance broker in Scotland, and they are currently seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their team in Central Glasgow. As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing a first-class service and building strong relationships with clients.

Our client is looking to expand into 'niche' areas. If you have a passion or expertise in something such as Sport, Hotel and Travel, Marine or Professional Indemnity to name a few, then this could be the natural next step for you to work in an area you love.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, providing a high level of service and support.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of policy renewals, adjustments, and claims.
- Identify opportunities for growth within your portfolio and proactively cross-sell additional products and services.
- Manage client expectations and negotiate with Underwriters to obtain the best possible terms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system.

**Skills and experience**:

- Previous experience in a commercial insurance role, ideally within a broker environment.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and underwriting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a large portfolio of clients.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
