**About the Powder Plant Process Operative job**

The purpose of your role is to assist with the manufacture of dairy powder according to specification.

Key tasks:

- Monitor quality standards for products, raising any concerns you may find
- Regularly take production samples to our lab to be checked
- Ensure hygiene, health & safety and food safety guidelines are followed
- Report any issues or breakdowns to the Production Manager/Engineers

**About You**
- Experience working in a production, manufacturing, factory, or related role - most ideally in food or beverage production
- Knowledge of food safety and food hygiene would be a great advantage
- Experience operating food production machinery is desirable
- Ability to communicate
- Have own transport as no direct public transport links

The **Powder Plant Process Operative** is based in Skelmersdale

This is paid at £12/hour during your 3-month probationary period which will then be reviewed after successful 13 weeks.

The working hours are:
Days 4 on 2 off 7am - 7pm (finish)

Evenings 4 on 4 off 7pm - 7am (finish)

There is an element of holiday cover and weekend working required.

Bonus scheme available if criteria is met.

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
