An average sized ‘Good’ primary school in Durham, DH1, are looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work on a part time basis.

**About the role**:
Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm, the desired Teaching Assistant w ill be supporting a child in Year 5. The child has ASC and would need help with personal care. The school would like someone who has experience supporting children within Key Stage 2 and SEND. The role would start September 2023, and would be needed until July 2024 at least.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:

- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Experience supporting children in KS2 and SEND
