Android & IOS Engineers

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Consumer Servicing & Engagement Platform for experienced Android & IOS Engineers.
The Platform will give you the opportunity to work in a fun dynamic team who are at the forefront of leading the way for customers and colleagues in transforming and digitising the Lloyds Banking Group Retail Bank across mobile, branch, telephony and internetbanking.

**Android & IOS Engineers - Consumer Servicing & Engagement Platforms**

**Location**: London based with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week

**Salary & Benefits**:£61,176.00 - £99,411.00 GBP base salary, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

What we need from you**:

- Strong knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Fantastic ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, and an interest in benchmarking and optimisation
- Proficient in code versioning tools, such as git, Jenkins, Fastlane

It would also be great if you had:

- Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- MVVM architecture, designing RESTful APIs, PromiseKit
- Experience with Agile principles and methodologies and usage of related tools - JIRA and Confluence

**For our Android Engineers**

We’re looking for self
- motivated Senior Android Engineers, proficient in Android mobile development. You’ll have technical know-how from crafting, developing, and producing mobile components and services, stakeholder management working closely with strategyand UX/UI Design teams to architect, design and implement solutions and you’ll love mentoring and educating less experienced developers.

What we're looking for:

- Professional working knowledge in designing a mobile experience for variable screen sizes in variable versions of Android
- Excellent knowledge of Kotlin/Java
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Awesome knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks and benchmarking and optimisation
- Proficient in Google's Android design principles, interface guidelines and code versioning tools, such as Git

We’re looking for hands-on experience of continuous delivery across areas such as code reviewing; understanding of basic App architectures (i.e. MVP/MVVM/MVI/Clean Architecture) and you’ll be confident with common libraries such as (Dagger2, Retrofit, Coroutines
- RxJava).

It would also be great if you had experience with:

- MVVM/MVI architecture, Android Architecture Components and other Jetpack libraries
- Jetpack Compose
- Working in a modularised codebase
- UI testing
- Cloud message APIs and push notifications
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design as well as knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
