**ICA Technician - Cardiff - 8m temporary assignment**
**The Opportunity**
Yolk is a recruiting partner for one of Wales’ largest organisations which delivers a valuable public service. We are supporting them to recruit an ICA Technician for Cardiff. This is a temporary assignment for 8m initially. You will have the opportunity towork overtime and 1 in 4 standbys.
Our client is a well-known and reputable company who offer ongoing training and development.
**What the ICA Technician will be doing**:

- Carry out planned maintenance of ICA plant and make decisions on both tasks and frequencies to strike a balance between regular checks and number of breakdowns.
- Respond to breakdowns on a very wide variety of ICA plant, assess problems, decide on action, acquire spares and carry out repairs as necessary.
- Recommend design changes if necessary, to ensure that plant continues to function efficiently and effectively in order to maintain levels of service

**What the ICA Technician will bring to the team**:

- Time Served apprenticeship in a relevant role such as electronics, instrumentation or electrical. Alternatively, fully qualified in at least one of the work streams with a demonstrable track record and experience.
- HNC or equivalent in industrial measurement or control
- Clean driving license

**Here’s how the successful ICA Technician will be rewarded**:
Pay rate of £15.14 - £17.88ph depending on experience (Equivalent to £29,000 - £34,500 salary)
