Stockton Hall Hospital is a medium secure 112 bedded unit spanning over 7 wards, caring for people with mental illness, personality disorders and learning disabilities.

Reporting to the designated line manager for site. The role is responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative service for the ward. The role is an important part of the administrative team within the hospital.

Prepare Money for patients and ensuring ledges are updated and accurate

Work with Ward staff to ensure that appropriate Patient filing is completed in a timely manner and is accuratly completed

Ensure Archiving is completed on regular basis and all patient records are stored in a secure area
- Prepare admission packs
- Record patient admissions and discharges on the relevant IT systems - Arrange sick certificates for patients on admission and throughout their stay as required
- Obtain patient records from other hospitals as required
- Ensure that all communication is within the boundaries of patient confidentiality, and seek guidance when unsure
- Document information in accordance with Record keeping and Information Governance standards
- Order stationary and food supplies for the ward
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail on the ward
- Book transport as required
- Undertake photocopying, filing and archiving services
- To maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act & Priory Group policy
- To minute take meetings as required
- You will be expected to provide cover and support to the wider team and site as and when needed

Knowledge / Education / Skills
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English
- IT competence in Microsoft
