**Healthcare Assistant Pre-Operative Assessment**

**HCA | POA | Sheffield| 37.5 hours per week | Full time | Competitive salary**

Spire Claremont Hospital are looking for an experienced HCA to join our fantastic Pre-Operative Assessment department in providing exemplary patient care as your support our Nurses in the smooth running of our clinics.

Spire Claremont Hospital has provided first-class independent healthcare at the heart of the South Yorkshire community since 1953. Our hospital is situated among beautifully landscaped grounds in Crosspool, Sheffield and it is situated 3 miles (about 20 minutes) to the south west of Sheffield city centre.
Claremont Hospital has 42 beds, three laminar flow theatres, 13 consulting rooms, a static MRI and CT scanner, and plain and digital X-ray. The hospital provides surgery and outpatients with diagnostic imaging services.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Working in our busy POA team you will provide support to our Nurses including Phlebotomy, ECG’s and general observations. You will assist in the smooth operation of our clinics and provide first class service to our patients. Full training will be provided.

**Who we're looking for**:

- Ideally you will have experience in and be trained in Phlebotomy.
- Experience working as a HCA within a clinical environment
- A caring demeanour and someone who excels in customer service
- The flexibility to work a mix of shifts as part of our rota
