**About Evolve**

We’re looking for an Apprenticeship Manager to join the team. This interesting role includes sourcing placements from businesses, managing recruitment and line-managing apprentices, as well as helping our third sector and business partners at events, or with initiatives. We also have excellent accredited and non-accredited training and development opportunities.

The ideal person would have an understanding of apprenticeships and the construction industry. More important is an individual keen to learn, develop, and a passion to make a difference to those disadvantaged from the labour market

**Role description**
- Supporting the Apprenticeship and Partnership Manager to develop effective partnerships in the delivery of the Apprenticeship programme.
- Carrying out regular reviews with Apprentices and their Host contractor and maintaining accurate records.
- Representing the organisation at meetings, presenting a positive image of the service to support business growth opportunities.
- Identifying new business opportunities and providing support to the Business Manager.
- Recruiting Apprentices for the programme and working collaboratively with contractors to secure successful work placement programmes for Apprentices.
- Responsibility for organising and monitoring the delivery of all mandatory training requirements for Apprentices.
- Delivering appropriate induction programmes for Apprentices and Host contractors.
- Liaising with Evolve’s legal team regarding human resource issues
- To report to the Apprenticeship and Partnership Manager on the social impact of the Shared Apprenticeship Scheme, in line with the National TOMS Framework
- Empathy and understanding to assist with a caseload of vulnerable young people, potentially with complex needs;
- Meet targets within the employment and skills sector - primarily focused on retaining apprentices and creating new job opportunities;
- Motivate young people to complete Apprenticeships;
- Communicate with stakeholders at different levels - you will be liaising with Social Value Managers and those involved in Corporate Social Responsibility;
- Knowledge of the apprenticeships and current employability schemes. Evolve has additional schemes for ESF and DWP funded programmes:
**Additional information**

**Staff** - Direct line management responsibility of Apprentices participating in the programme.

**Salary/benefits** - £28,823, statutory pension, 25 annual leave days plus 8 public holidays, access to Employee Assistance Programme and Bike2Work Scheme.

**Location **- Evolve staff work from our office in Canary Wharf at least 2 days a week. The role will involve travelling to client sites for meetings.
