**Role: Senior Healthcare Data Analyst**

**Client: Consulting Firm**

**Location: Remote & London**

**Salary: GBP 50k to 65k + Bonus + Benefits**

**Context**:
You will work as part of a small, interdisciplinary team of healthcare experts to solve interesting and difficult healthcare problems to support solution implementation. Our client's overarching goal is to bring a new patient-centred approach to the deliveryof analytics in Humanising Healthcare, one which has an end-to-end analytical capability, using publicly available and proprietary tools, and innovative service approaches.

You will be a senior member of our team, helping to set the direction, provide expertise, and ensure we have compelling and distinctive patient-centred analytical approaches and products to drive operational improvement practice across the NHS and healthcareorganisations.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary consulting teams to support client engagement and project delivery
- Preparing dashboards, presentations, and reports to effectively communicate your insights
- Assisting in the identification and pursuit of project opportunities
- Contributing to business development activities
- Sharing responsibility for the development of the healthcare data analytics specialism

Our team members are based on client sites for the duration of our work programmes. This role may require regular travel and working away from home during the working week. Outside of programmes, the team operates a hybrid working model with our office basedin London.

**Knowledge & Skills**
- A degree or MSc in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics) or demonstratable experience
- Experience in an analytical role in the healthcare sector with knowledge of NHS systems and processes and familiarity with healthcare datasets (e.g., SUS/HES, PLICS)
- Experience with or the ability and willingness to learn programming languages such as R/Python, querying languages such as SQL, standard BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and cloud services such as Microsoft Azure
- Expert user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of advanced analytical processes (e.g., simulation) and statistical methods (e.g., predictive modelling)
- Knowledge of qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys)
- Familiar with information governance and data security policies, procedures, and standards
- Experience with agile ways of working
- Experience working with clients in a professional setting
- Experience leading and delivering projects and outputs in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas, findings and complex technical concepts to specialist and non-specialist audiences
- Ability work simultaneously on numerous projects with varying scopes
- Willing to work with a cross-functional and highly collaborative team
