QAagency is delighted to be working with a global distributor of components and seals to aerospace, motorsport, defence and industrial markets. With their head office in Swindon as well as offices in the Midlands and Germany, this role will see you lead the continual development of the Quality Management System across all business units and departments. You will be expected to travel between the sites on a regular basis and ensure the company QMS meets or exceeds the requirements of AS9100/9120 & ISO9001 & other standards.

On a daily basis you will work to maintain accurate document control and ensure retention requirements are managed. This will involve engaging with and motivating process owners to optimise processes & overall product & service quality. You will develop and implement quality metrics to ensure business-wide understanding along with leading and supporting external audit activity by customers and accreditation bodies. This will involve supporting responsible areas to ensure audit corrective actions are robust and implemented in a timely manner.

Finally you will conduct trend analysis, identify general improvement themes and manage their execution and support the wider quality & business teams to ensure a continuous improvement ethos is embedded.

This role will be a mainly office based role with you being expected to work four days in the office and potential to work one day from home.

For this role you will need previous experience managing, developing and maintaining a quality system against Aerospace or Automotive standards. Previous audit experience as well as training for internal, regulatory, supplier, customer. You will ideally have quality, technical or manufacturing background within Aerospace,

Pay: £34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
