What you’ll do:

- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
- Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and repairing equipment assigned by Sky News and Sky Sports News.
- Take Proactive Action to correct ongoing equipment related problems with little supervision.
- Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings and dealing with returns and equipment repairs.
- Maintaining statistical records.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
- Assist with new projects involving installation, configuration, and testing of new Broadcast, Camera and IT Equipment.
- Assist with OB Broadcast work and Truck/Coverage Deployments, together with news Bureau maintenance.
- Report and post daily shift logs of issues and activity using The Fleetio vehicle management software.

What you’ll bring:

- You must be pro-active, highly motivated and flexible with an understanding of how a fast-paced news provider operates on a daily basis.
- You must have the ability to operate consistently in high pressure environments with excellent communication skills.
- Full Driving Licence and Passport
