**About the Role**:
OneNorwich Practices is looking to hire a dynamic, enthusiastic and confident individual to join us as a dietician. The role is offered on a either a full
- or a part-time basis, with flexibility over the days and hours to be worked.

The dietician will work with all of the GP practices within the PCN to deliver a comprehensive and autonomous nutrition service. Continuing service development and innovation is a key part of this role, and through collaboration, the post-holder will help to shape this new and growing service.

There will be opportunities to develop and use specialist dietetic skills in areas including frailty, gastro, diabetes, weight management and paediatrics. We will support the post-holder to advance their career, through the HEEs Roadmap to Practice, working towards becoming a first contact dietitian.

**The main duties of the role include**:

- providing interventions for the patient, from initial clinical assessment, to diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care, within set patient groups;
- safe, clinical decision-making and the provision of expert care for patients within the general practice. You will be working, collaboratively, with the current PCN dietitian and general practice multi-disciplinary team, to meet the needs of patients through supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, providing dietetic leadership as required.

All applicants should:

- Hold a BSc in Dietetics under a training programme approved by the British Dietetic Association (BDA);
- Have current Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration;
- Be highly skilled and able to operate at an advanced level of practice, with expert knowledge in the management of patients’ dietary issues and conditions;
- A proactive and motivated person, who will take key roles in the network leading on new initiatives and representing the service locally;
- Be able to understand and analyse complex issues, balancing competing priorities to make difficult decisions;
- Have the ability to analyse and interpret complex and often incomplete information, to pre-empt and evaluate issues, and to recommend an appropriate course of action to address the issues;
- Demonstrate strong and inspirational leadership;
- Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise workloads;
- Ability to multi-task, be self-disciplined and highly self-motivated;
- Value diversity and difference, operating with integrity and openness;
- Work well with others, being positive and helpful, listening, involving, respecting and learning from the contribution of others;
- Actively develop themselves and supports others to do the same;
- Be able to work in a variety of settings;
