This is a brand new role working alongside managers and service leaders to provide training and support for new and existing colleagues to ensure we are consistently delivering brand standards in our offer and exceptional service to our customers. When you are not busy training you will work alongside your team in your role as a colleague; serving customers, working on the tills, stocking products etc.

You will- Welcome all new colleagues on the job as part of their induction, ensuring they have the best first experience with Westmorland and understand who we are and “how we do business” completing a tour of the department and delivering basic training- You will provide on the job coaching for new colleagues during their engagement period and help them to learn all areas of the Cafe and stations
- Ensure colleagues are completing their online learning to support their training
- Keep the team updated with new updates and refresher training
- Work with the other Colleague trainers to keep the Learning tracker up to date for your area
- Work closely with our Operational Learning Managers to ensure the correct standards are in place at all times
- Monitor standards of food quality, customer service and hygiene and coach where required

As this role will support colleagues who work across our full trading hours, you will need the flexibility to ensure you are on hand to share your expertise as the business requires it, whether those colleagues work during the day, at night or at weekends.
