Domestic Assistant

St Minver House Care Home is a Residential Home in St Minver, Cornwall.

As a Domestic Assistant you will play a key role in our team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.

You will be responsible for the general cleaning of designated area’s ensuring both tidiness and hygiene are kept to an impeccable standard at all times. This can include; cleaning bathrooms and toilets, changing and making beds, emptying waste bins and laundry duties.

As an established care home group, we pride ourselves in providing a safe environment for both our staff and residents. We provide full PPE, excellent standards of infection control and ongoing training opportunities. Quite simply, we want to keep you safe so we can keep the residents safe.
- Willing to partake in mandatory training ie. Infection Control, Health & Safety
- Previous experience of Domestic work.
- Able to interact with residents professionally and respectfully
- Able to organise and manage workload and prioritise duties.
- You may be required to assist in the laundering of resident' clothes and bedding
- You must be able to work independently on your own initiative as well as in a team.

Set Shift Pattern: Alternate Weekends: Shift time flexibility: 7am-1pm or 8am-2pm
